As much as we enjoyed Santiago we were anxious to head south so we got a bus to Pucon. It was nice to see the country side change from dryland with cactus and vineyards to wetter areas with rolling fields, dairy farms, and commercial timberland. It was dark when we got to Pucon but after a couple dead-end streets we managed to find a hostel but only for one night and enjoyed a walk around town and a couple Pisco sours.
